LUKE 'MR MIAMI' TROTMAN

Luke has been playing professional poker since before his 22nd birthday, 5 years ago.  His interest in poker stems back to small home games between him and his friends since the age of 15.

While studying for an English degree he discovered online poker starting at 50nl. Within 8 months he was playing the biggest games on the net and enjoying the lifestyle that it afforded, allowing him to fund a masters degree in Screenwriting.

Luke specialises in no-limit hold ‘em although has enjoyed great success at limit hold ’em and Omaha. Luke plans to expand his online success to the live tournament circuit. He has over $150,000 in online tournament cashes to compliment the profit from cash games and is currently researching exterior factors such as lifestyle and emotional control that he believes are crucial factors to ensure continued success.

He has also been published as a writer in national newspapers and magazines both in poker specific articles and other non-related material. He currently resides between his home town of Bournemouth and Central London.
